When using these sani-tabs for soaking, first wash your items with a good detergent in the first sink compartment. Rinse with clean water in the second sink compartment. In the third sink compartment, use one Steramine sanitizing tablet per one gallon of warm water. Allow several minutes for the tablets to dissolve. Immerse your items for at least one minute or for the contact time specified by the governing sanitary code. Allow the items to air dry on a rack or drainboard.
You can also use these sani-tabs in a spray application. First, wash and rinse all items and surfaces thoroughly. Then, apply the solution (one tab per one gallon) using a hand trigger sprayer or wipe on. Allow the surface to remain wet for at least one minute, followed by adequate draining and air-drying.
