The República del Cacao Story

In 2005, the Chiriboga brothers from Ecuador were visiting a chocolate shop in Paris and asked to taste their finest chocolate. When the chocolatier offered a sample of their most prized product, the brothers were amazed and delighted to learn that it was made with Ecuadorian cacao that was harvested just down the road from their home town.

Upon learning that Ecuadorian cacao was considered the finest in the world, the Chiriboga brothers set out on a mission to locally produce the best and most authentic Latin American chocolate and República del Cacao was born.
