This BREW125-MS carbon block filtration system is specifically engineered for coffee and tea brewing applications. The system effectively removes chlorine taste and odor while filtering particulates down to 1 micron. An integrated slow-release scale inhibitor prevents mineral buildup that can damage equipment.
The sanitary quick-change design ensures clean cartridge replacement without direct contact with filter media. The valve-in-head design allows for simultaneous water shut-off and venting during cartridge changes, eliminating the need for upstream water shutoff.
Rated for 1.5 GPM applications with 3/8" NPT water connections. Maximum operating pressure is 125 PSI (pressure limiting valve recommended for pressures exceeding 80 PSI). Maximum operating temperature is 100°F. Includes mounting bracket for straightforward installation with minimum 2⅜" clearance below cartridge.
By preventing scale buildup on fittings, sprayheads, and heating elements, this filtration system extends equipment lifespan and reduces maintenance costs. The 10,000-gallon capacity minimizes replacement frequency, providing excellent value for high-volume brewing operations.
