Clariant Desi Pak bentonite clay desiccant packets provide a sustainable, economical solution for controlling moisture in a variety of packaging applications, such as shipping or storing electronics, machine parts, equipment, pharmaceuticals, and bulk foods. Made with naturally occurring bentonite clay that is minimally processed, these packets offer superior absorption and help combat corrosion, mold, and degradation to extend the shelf life of your products.
These packets remain dry and free-flowing even at full water vapor capacity while maintaining shape, size, and texture. Their adsorption capacity is excellent even at low humidity levels and increases as the relative humidity rises. They adsorb moisture slower at high humidity levels compared to silica gel, making them easier to handle.
Made using uncoated Tyvek, these packets provide maximum absorption and seal strength, helping to prevent the risk of breakage or leakage. Additionally, you can dry these packets in the oven to remove retained water vapor between uses, allowing you to reactivate them and make the most of your desiccant supply.
