Duragard® 100% Synthetic SGC® 636 is an ISO-680 Premium 100% Synthetic Hydrocarbon (SHC), Polyalphaolefin (PAO)-based lubricant with a very high viscosity index (HVI). It is specially designed for enclosed gear, circulating, compressor, and hydraulic systems requiring ashless antioxidants and anti-wear formulations. This lubricant provides excellent low-temperature flow properties with high thermal and oxidative stability, delivering outstanding lubrication under hydrodynamic and mild boundary conditions.
It is ideal for gear systems where moderate loads and high temperatures are expected, including worm gears containing soft metals such as bronze and copper. It also offers superior performance in rotary compressors, centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, vacuum pumps, high and low-pressure hydraulic systems, blowers, enclosed gear units, plain and roller contact bearings, circulating and splash-lubricated systems, and mist systems.
