Applications

Mobil SHC Polyrex greases are compatible with many Polyurea and lithium complex greases. For maximum performance, systems should be cleaned before changing to a Polyrex product. Key product grades and applications include:

  • Polyrex 005: NLGI 00, ideal for central grease systems, low ambient temperatures, and enclosed gears. Operating range: –30°C to 170°C.
  • Polyrex 221: NLGI 1, multipurpose heavy-duty bearings. Operating range: –30°C to 170°C.
  • Polyrex 222: NLGI 2, multipurpose heavy-duty bearings. Operating range: –30°C to 170°C.
  • Polyrex 462: NLGI 2, for heavily loaded bearings and high temperature applications such as steam heated rolls and oven conveyors. Operating range: –20°C to 170°C.
