Formulated from high-quality base stocks, these oils resist oxidation, thermal degradation, and deposit formation, while providing excellent rust protection, lubricity, and water resistance.
The Mobil 600W™ Cylinder Oil, Mobil 600W™ Super Cylinder Oil, and Mobil™ Extra Hecla Super Cylinder Oil are additized for enhanced friction and load-carrying properties. They are widely used in worm gears, couplings, and bearings, with viscosity grade selection depending on operating conditions. Mobil 600W Super Cylinder Oil is recommended for saturated and superheated steam up to 260°C. Mobil Extra Hecla Super Cylinder Oil can be used with superheated steam above 260°C and demonstrates good demulsibility. Application can be via drip feed cups or force-feed mechanical lubricating devices.
