They are designed for all types of enclosed gear drives with circulation or splash lubrication systems and to meet the increasing demands of modern gearbox technology, including higher power density and smaller unit designs.
Mobilgear 600 XP Series protects gear teeth from early-stage wear, including micropitting that can cause significant gear damage. Exceeding industry standards for bearing wear, these oils provide up to 15 times the protection in the FAG FE 8 test. The balanced formulation delivers maximum wear and corrosion protection while maintaining compatibility with common gearbox seal materials, helping prevent leaks and contamination.
Recommended for industrial spur, helical, and bevel enclosed gears operating at bulk oil temperatures up to 100°C, the oils are particularly suitable for gear sets under heavy or shock loads. They also find broad application in marine gearing and non-gear uses such as highly loaded slow-speed plain and rolling contact bearings.
