Mobilgear 600 XP Series oils protect gear teeth from early-stage wear, including micropitting, and exceed industry requirements for bearing wear protection, providing up to 15 times the protection in standard FAG FE 8 tests. The formulation balances maximum wear and corrosion protection while maintaining compatibility with common gearbox seal materials, helping to prevent leaks and contamination.
Recommended for industrial spur, helical, and bevel gears, these oils perform well under heavy or shock loads and bulk oil temperatures up to 100°C. They are also suitable for marine gearing applications and other highly loaded, slow-speed plain or rolling contact bearings.
