Mobilgrease 28 is a premium high-performance aviation grease designed to provide reliable lubrication across a wide range of operating temperatures. This advanced grease combines a polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base fluid with an organo-clay thickener to deliver exceptional stability, wear protection and long service life in demanding aviation environments.
The synthetic base oil provides excellent low-temperature pumpability and very low starting and running torque, helping equipment start smoothly in cold conditions while maintaining stable lubrication at elevated temperatures. Its wax-free formulation and high viscosity index also contribute to reduced friction and lower operating temperatures in heavily loaded bearings.
The non-soap clay thickener gives Mobilgrease 28 a very high dropping point and outstanding resistance to thermal degradation. It also offers strong resistance to water washout, excellent load-carrying capability and dependable protection against wear in both rolling element bearings and sliding mechanisms.
Mobilgrease 28 is widely used in aviation and industrial equipment requiring reliable lubrication under high speeds, heavy loads and extreme temperatures. It performs effectively in rolling element bearings, aircraft components and heavily loaded sliding mechanisms such as wing flap screw jacks.
