Mobiltemp SHC™ Series greases are supreme performance antiwear greases designed for high temperature applications. They combine polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base fluids with an organo-clay, non-soap thickener. The PAO base provides excellent thermal and oxidative stability, while the clay thickener ensures high structural stability and a high dropping point, resulting in outstanding high temperature performance. These wax-free synthetic greases also deliver superior low temperature lubrication and excellent film protection at elevated temperatures.
Due to the low traction properties of the PAO base oil, Mobiltemp SHC Series can provide energy savings through reduced friction, lower torque, and reduced bearing temperatures. The series includes:
