Mobil SHC™ 600 Series lubricants are exceptional performance gear and bearing oils designed to provide outstanding equipment protection, extended oil life, and problem-free operation, enabling increased operational efficiency. These scientifically engineered oils are formulated using proprietary Mobil SHC technology to deliver balanced performance across demanding applications at high and low temperatures.
Mobil SHC 600 products feature excellent low-temperature properties, improved air release in lower viscosity grades, and high mechanical shear resistance in heavily loaded gear and high shear bearing applications, maintaining virtually no loss of viscosity.
These lubricants exhibit low traction coefficients relative to mineral oils, resulting in reduced fluid friction in the load zones of gears and rolling contact bearings. Lower fluid friction translates into reduced operating temperatures, improved gear efficiency, and energy savings of up to 3.6% in controlled laboratory tests. The formulation also provides excellent oxidation and deposit resistance, rust and corrosion protection, antiwear performance, demulsibility, foam control, air release properties, and multi-metal compatibility while maintaining seal compatibility.
