Mobil SHC Cibus Series lubricants are high performance oils developed for hydraulic systems, compressors, gears and bearings operating in food and beverage processing and packaging environments. These synthetic lubricants are engineered to deliver excellent equipment protection, long lubricant service life and reliable operation in demanding industrial conditions.
The formulation uses FDA and NSF registered hydrocarbon base fluids combined with a proprietary additive system. The naturally high viscosity index allows these lubricants to maintain stable viscosity across a wide operating temperature range, supporting dependable lubrication during both high and low temperature operation as well as under heavy loading.
Mobil SHC Cibus Series products provide consistent performance in applications exposed to frequent wash-down environments where conventional mineral oils may not perform effectively. The formulation supports efficient equipment operation while maintaining lubricant stability in challenging conditions.
These lubricants are NSF H1 registered and comply with FDA Title 21 CFR 178.3570 requirements for incidental food contact. They are manufactured in ISO 22000 certified facilities that also meet ISO 21469 standards, supporting high product integrity. The products are pale in color with low odor and are free of animal-derived materials and common allergens including nuts, wheat and gluten.
