Mobil Vacuoline 500 Series provides a versatile lubricant source for a wide range of industrial equipment. These high-performance heavy-duty circulating oils are designed to meet the demanding requirements of No-Twist Rod Mills, while offering excellent all-round performance for circulation systems lubricating gears and bearings.

Formulated from high-quality base stocks and a proprietary additive system, Mobil Vacuoline 500 Series offers superior wettability, enhanced oil retention, and thin film protection against rust and corrosion. It provides excellent resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation and ensures high protection against wear. These oils possess outstanding demulsibility, allowing water and contaminants to separate readily from the system reservoir. The series is available in six viscosity grades.

Applications

Mobil Vacuoline 500 Series is suitable for lubrication of plain bearings, roller bearings, parallel shaft and bevel gearing, circulation systems, and hydraulic systems requiring higher viscosity oils. It is effective in splash, bath, and ring oil arrangements as well as in pumps, valves, and auxiliary equipment. Typical applications include:

  • No Twist Rod Mills
  • Moderate duty spur, bevel, helical, and herringbone gear units
  • Circulating systems
  • Hydraulic systems employing gear, vane, radial, and axial piston pumps
  • Certain compressors and vacuum pumps handling air and inert gases (discharge temp ≤ 150°C)
